Always make your first wager on a new shooter one unit on the don't pass.
a) If s/he makes the point or throws a seven or eleven on the comeout then your next bet is one unit on the pass.
b) If s/he throws a craps on the first roll, then stay on the don't side with the same shooter.
By the way, if I'm having a good day & am up, I sometimes actually PARLAY the one unit bet. You would be surprised at how may times a shooter may roll 2 or more craps on the come out... but this is NOT a conservative way to play & should only be used when winning!
Stick with the one unit next bet (on the pass or don't pass line... see above) on a 7,11,3,12 or 2. Once a point is established put down double odds & immediately make a one unit come bet. For the next roll follow the above procedures for that come roll. Then double odds on the come roll. If you win the come bet, then replace it with another come bet and double odds if a point is established on the come bet.
Leave any table if you get twenty units down. That’s it! Over time this has won . I do occasionally go with two come bets, if I am already comfortably up. This is a "feel" type thing with no particular hard & fast ground-rules.
I NEVER limit my winnings. By that I mean that after I am up at least Eleven units I keep betting the method, so that even if I should lose that next bet I will go home 10 units winners. But if I should win I try to reach at least 15, then twenty & so forth. So my winning table departure would look something like this... 10, 15, 20, 25 etc. But I always walk if I lose 20 units.
